Hi there! I am average guy in my forties and I wasn’t particularly in physical activities for about 20 years…๐Ÿคจ. Just some lawn moving and similar works around the house and nothing more. I am 193cm tall and my weight is about 88kg. But all life I was more slim, from 73kg in my twenties, to 80kg in thirties. I am programmer, that means I am sitting near the computer all day.

But since 2021 I have changed my lifestyle.

Background

In few recent years I noticed I started to gain some weight. And I have noticed that even a thicker belly is starting to appear. I have never thought about any nutrition restrictions previously, as well as about any sports. But, as my doughters are into various sports in school and they are fit and sporty girls, I started to think more about myself, if I am happy with my physical condition and body shape. Also, I realized that it is essential for my health, and I just need more physical activities to stay healthy. That was my turning point and I was ready to take some action.

Turning point

Then accidentaly, I came over some calisthenics videos and pullups challenge videos on internet. It was very interesting for me and I realized it was sport I was looking for. Calisthenics could give all I would like to achieve – excellent, balanced strength and awesome skills. I was watching muscle up videos and I was excited. I thought – hey man, wouldn’t be awesome to be able to do muscle-up by myself? That would be incredible!

And so my journey began in the spring of 2021.

I started this blog just for myself, but maybe it could be interesting and give some inspiration to somebody else too.
